Olivier Giroud will join Arsenal

Giroud helped Montpellier win the French league for the first time last year, and Arsenal fans are hoping that he will do the same this year with Wenger's team, after 7 years without a trophy. However the deal is still unofficial because the player is with the French squad playing for the Euro Championship. Various clubs showed interest in signing the player but Montpellier's manager confirmed that Giroud priority is playing in the Premier League and so Arsenal were leading the chase for his signature. Giroud said before going with France in Ukraine, that he will not talk about any transfers before he finishes the job with France in the Euro 2012.
