Manchester United sign Nick Powell

Nick Powell is still 18 years old, but with Crewe Alexandra he had an excellent season, so Manchester United bought the player, hoping that he will become a star in the future. Sir Alex Ferguson said that the player has a lot of talent, and he could prove to be an excellent signing for the future. Ferguson confirmed that he had other offers, and so he praised him for choosing wisely, as he can learn a lot from Manchester United. Powell said that he was excited at joining such a big club. Many saw the player score a wonder goal at Wembley last season when Crewe Alexamdra beat Cheltenham 2-0. He said he chose United as the club always looked at the youngsters to develop, and he is sure that he will become a good player at Manchester. Crewe Alexandra dismissed the possibility of the player coming back on loan next season to gain more experience. This was confirmed by their coach Steve Davis. The reason he gave was that he wants a permanent replacement for him, and that would be a player they already have or by buying a new one.
