Sunderland sign Carlos Cuellar

Sunderland managed to get Carlos Cuellar for a 2 year-deal for free. Last season he played with Aston Villa, but his contract expired this weekend. Aston Villa bought the player from Rangers in 2008. However Sunderland sold George McCartney to West Ham, who played as a left back. Cuellar played 94 times for Aston Villa from 2008 until he left the club.
