Robin van Persie will never go to Manchester City

Robin Van Persie's father said that the move to Manchester city is impossible as Robin will not play for another team in England except Arsenal. Currently Robin van Persie is with the Dutch squad who has a game against Denmark in just a few hours, but since the end of the season reports were linking him with a move away from Arsenal, as his contract has only 1 year left. Manchester City emerged favorites to sign him, as Real Madrid and Barcelona cooled their interest after looking at other targets. His father said that Robin loves the club and so he will never go to another English club. When asked about Barcelona and Real Madrid, he said at Barcelona there's already Messi, and Real Madrid are not a team but a collection of stars. So the possibility of staying at Arsenal is becoming more of a reality for the Gunners.
