Jermain Defoe returns home!


The problems for the English squad persists as Jermain Defoe returned home after his father died. However he is expected to return to Poland in a few days, so no replacement call has been made, at least for now. England's first match is on Monday against France. Defoe played in the last match against Belgium as a substitute in the last 15 minutes of the game, were he hit the post. when he will return is still uncertain but whenever he returns he is not expected to start the match against France. Defoe played 47 times for his country and scored 15. This season with Tottenham he was mainly on the bench, but he managed to score 17 goals this season. Following the news his club expressed their condolences.
