Jermain Defoe is expected to return to join the England squad by Saturday, making it in time to be available for selection against France. Defoe took the time to write a message on twitter where he thanked all the fans who gave him their support, and even the manager Hodgson for understanding the situation. Last game of Defoe with England was last Saturday, where he came on as a substitute, hitting the post in the process. He played 30 out 47 caps with England as a substitute, scoring 15 goals. In the training session of England some 3,500 fans were present including hundreds of children. there were reported figures of more than 5,000 fans, but since the ground holds only 3,500, more than 1,000 fans had to return home. More fans are cheered England on the second day of training, and a good news for Hodgson was that there were no further injuries. all the players were available except Defoe of course. On the training ground there was present a charity that supports orphans and underprivileged kids called 'Siemacha Foundation', who greeted the players. Wayne Rooney took the time also to put on a shooting practice for the fans.
