Gareth Bale is not leaving Tottenham

Gareth Bale made his intentions clear by signing a new 4-year deal with Tottenham Hotspurs, as he wants Tottenham to return to compete in the Champions League. His future was uncertain, as clubs such as Barcelona were interested in the player, and after Tottenham failed to reach the Champions League. However he wants to stay, at least for now. He said that this move is because he loves the club and fans, and wants Tottenham to return to Champions League. However the deal for Jan Vertonghen seems to have hit the rocks, as Ajax are unprepared to sell the defender. And so Vertonghen is resigned that he will stay at Ajax. Vertonghen also said that he is shocked that such details of his contract are being leaked in the media, as he said that this is not fair on his privacy. he also said that the percentages and details of his contract were all correct.
