France vs England 1-1 (full-time) UPDATED

After 45 minutes of play, it seems that France has started a bit stronger than England. France have had the majority of ball possession and have even come close to scoring more than once. Early on Joe Hart delivered fear for the English fans after not catching a cross, however England came very close to opening the score with James Milner, with the Englishman having gone past the French goalie but from a short distance put the ball wide of an open goal. England score with Joleon Lescott from a free-kick in the 30th minute, but France reply quickly with a shot to the near post by Samir Nasri.

2nd Half

The second half started with how the first half ended, France having a lot of possession, but England closing very well. Patrice Evra had a chance for France, but his cross was cleared by Steven Gerrard, who dominated England's midfield. However the big disappointed was surely the Italian referees as the mistakes they made were all in favor of France, as off-sides decisions were wrong and fouls not given, as was evidenced when Gerrard was brought down at the edge of the area and even Glen Johnson was fouled, but both were not given. the England defense had to deal with a brilliant Samir Nasri and Karim Benzema, where Nasri was always determining the play for France. England had a chance when Glen Johnson had some space but his shot ending over the bar. Chamberlain and Welbeck were trying hard to get the ball who were being cleared, and the 2 players showed on the pitch that they can be stars in the future. Defoe came on for Chamberlain late in the game, which interestingly enough it was the second game of Chamberlain for England. England had a good chance when they won a ball in France's half, was crossed dangerously but Mexes done, well. The match finally ended with a shot by Benzema, but Hart saved the shot.
