So many blockbusters have been shown this year, and after The Avengers, anything following it has good reason to be very nervous. The level of excitement and intensity of sequences are simply gigantic challenges that creativity is key. I am not sure how this version of Batman will do that but based on the trailer, I'm not as excited. But then again this is just Batman and he has no super powers so it may be fair to look at it from the point of view of just a great action film. And in that category I believe this is quite impressive.
