Chelsea and Man United looking to sign players

Some team want to strengthen their team to pose a more serious threat, while others look to sign players to be able to defend their titles. Chelsea and Manchester United are both being linked with a player that currently plays in the English Premier League.

Reports are that the Red Devils are looking into the possibility of signing Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye. It is clear that United need to bolster their midfield (in fact, Scholes was asked to come out of retirement because there was a lack of available players). The Frencham has been in great form this season, and his performances have even earned him a place in the France squad for the Euro 2012.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are said to be interested in securing the services of Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini. The Belgian has stated that he wishes to move to a more prolific squad, and Champions League winners Chelsea fit the bill perfectly. Everton will try to keep hold of their star, but a big offer would probably be irresistible. His price is costly though, as Everton would like to get more than the £15 million they spent to sign him.
