Manchester City could land Benzema

Sources are saying that Karim Benzema could be on his way to Manchester City, as they are looking to buy a striker. They are looking to strengthen the strike-force because of Mario Balotelli, Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko, who all have unsecured future at Etihad, and so the Blues would want to replace them if they are to leave. Benzema had the best season at Real Madrid, scoring 32 goals this year only with Real. Jose Mourinho however is reluctant to lose the striker, as he is a key player of the squad, and so it would be difficult to lure Benzema out of Real Madrid. His agent however said, that he can join another club, with Manchester City being a possible club. He said that a few years ago Manchester United were interested in Benzema, however they did not agree on many things, and so negotiations collapsed immediately. Finally he concluded by saying that all this is just negotiations, and so one can't say for sure what will happen in the future, as he could stay at Real Madrid.
