Germany needs to prove that the time has come to win something and not reach only the final. Germany has an excellent team with Mesut Ozil, Mario Gomez (who had an excellent season), and Khedira. Many are predicting a win for Germany, and so do I, but Portugal can still manage a surprise.

Both have the quality to win this match - Germany have recovered their midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, and are hoping that Mario Gomez forgets the Champions League final and become the deadly poacher again. Portugal. on the other hand, have worldwide famous player Cristiano Ronaldo who, aided with his ex-collegue Luis Nani, could  pose serious problems to the Germany defense, which has been disappointing in these last few matches.

However Germany are a better side with players like Lahm at the back and Gomez up front it is hard to see them loose this one. They are ones to look out for as they will mount a series challenge to the trophy. They are favorites in my opinion.
