Brendan Rodgers is the new manager of Liverpool

New Liverpool manager promised the fans that he will 'fight for his life' to bring success at Anfield, and he is not excluding the title in a few years time. He said currently Liverpool can't challenge for the title, but the plans for it starts now. Liverpool chairman said that the club only priority as coach was Rodgers, they never made contact with anyone else. With the appointment of Rodgers, the plans for a new sporting director were stopped. This is because Rodgers wanted a team of technical people in that position and not only 1 person. Liverpool fans however, gave a mixed view; some are confident that Rodgers has the abilities to do well, but others said that he isn't experienced enough for the job. Rodgers know about this skepticism and promised he will get their respect. His plans is to stay at Liverpool for a long time, obviously depending on whether he brings success or not.
