Andre Villas-Boas may be heading to Tottenham

After Harry Redknapp was sacked from Tottenham, the president Daniel Levy said that he wants a young and energetic coach. In fact we can confirm that last Friday Andre Villas-Boas' agent was in London were he spoke with Tottenham representatives. But now reports are saying that the club even spoke with Villas-Boas! Tottenham were linked with a move for Everton's boss David Moyes, but Levy wants a dynamic coach, and so Villas-Boas is favorite to get the job. Redknapp in the previous season has done really well in the Premier League, finishing 4th, 5th and then again 4th, and so Tottenham are gambling with a new coach. Tottenham also must clear the saga of Luka Modric, who reports are saying that he wants to leave, even though he has 4 years remaining with Tottenham. Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid all declared their interest in Modric, but the price of £40 million scared the clubs away. villas-Boas could also get a large transfer budget so that he can buy the players that he wants. They have to shape the attack, as Emmanuel Adebayor's wage demands are still high, and so the deal could be cancelled, leaving Jermain Defoe the only attacker.
