Paul Green called to Ireland squad

Paul Green expressed his delight after a last-grasp call  from Ireland coach Trapattoni, for the Euro Championships. Many said that when Trapattoni listed Green on the stand-by list, Green will not feature, and this was all because of a groin injury of Keith Fahey. Green also did not reach an agreement with Derby, and it was going to be a Summer that he has to forget. But thanks to Keith Fahey, it will not be a bad Summer for Green. He said that he was having a barbecue with his family when he received the news, packed quickly and had to fly quickly to meet the team. He said that he feels sorry for Fahey, as many a times they were room mates when they played for Ireland.
