Brendan Rodgers agrees Liverpool deal

The Swansea coach agreed terms with Liverpool to become their new manager, according to sources. He signed for 3 years, and his signature is thought to be hours away from being official. The compensation that Liverpool will pay to Swansea will be around £5 million. Rodgers will replaced Kenny Dalglish after Liverpool sacked him because the team finished 8th. Even though they won the Carling cup and reached the FA Cup final, they were 17 points behind Tottenham, and so it wasn't enough to convince the owners. Rodgers managed to guide Swansea to the Premiership, becoming the first Welsh team to do so.
