I wasn't nervous at all when I got there, partly because as I was walking to the building, one of my friends saw me and we walked together. So that gave me a little boost of confidence.
As my turn was getting nearer, my heart started pounding.. But then at the last minute I got excited! :)
I did my monologue and was all smiles afterwards - the picture of a bubbly person with a nice personality. Yey! I felt good afterwards and then I remembered, this is WHY I like theater. The adrenaline and the feeling I get afterwards is what makes all of this rewarding.
