Rooney will not play against Norway

According to reports, Rooney is set to miss the friendly against Norway due to an injury which he has been carrying these recent weeks. however Hodgson confirmed that Rooney will be back with the team for training, and will be considered to play in the friendly against Belgium. Hodgson said that when he talked to Rooney about leaving him to recover even against belgium, Rooney refused and said that he wants to be part of the team. Hodgson concluded by saying that fitness does not bother him, as there's still time to recover, but it's enthusiasm that he wants, and Rooney is truly showing it.
