It was an exciting evening and each contestant spat our song after song. But in the end, only one can be crowned and who better win but crowd favorite and Alicia Key's back-up singer Jermaine Paul.
Sobbing on stage in front of millions of viewers, the winner thanked everyone who voted for him, the judges and his family for their support.
“Nobody but Jesus!” he exclaimed. “Nobody!”
