Farewell Del Piero 

The time has come for Del Piero. Tonight will be his last match for Juventus. After an illustrious career for the bianconeri he will part ways, and he stated that he has not yet thought what he will do next, he just wants to live the moment. Tonight Juventus face Napoli in the Coppa Italia final and Juventus will be doing everything to secure the double after they won the scudetto 2 weeks ago.

 

Del Piero failed to reach an agreement over a contract extension with Juventus and this was the cause for him to leave. Many Juventini fans had tears in their eyes as they watched their captain play his last league match 2 weeks ago. It was a heart breaking scene that was witnessed that day as Del Piero lifted the League trophy with tears in his eyes and as the whole stadium thanked him for all he had done.
