The world is presently following the journey of Jessica Sanchez. She has fans allover the world, and is even highly regarded by international celebrities. Such is the case with Akon who wish Jessica to be booted out of the show so he could sign her.
In the history of Idol, only 4 women have won the search. Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks who won back in 2007.The show has also only created very few huge international stars. So far, only Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have become close to being called household names.
Many of the contestants are excellent, but only a few are what one can call outstanding and "commercial". Someone that everyone will love and follow and so far, between Philip, Joshua and Jessica... Only Jessica Sanchez has this appeal.
So, what do you think? Let's all cross our fingers and keep praying. Let's all support Jessica Sanchez and be proud that the next American Idol could be a Filipino-American.
