The poll conducted by USA today shows President Obama lead the republicans' front runner Mitt Romney in swing states.
Out of 933 registered voters, over 60% of the women preferred Obama to Mitt Romney who stood at 30%. These in event brought the total poll to 51% for Obama and 42% for Romney.
According to Sara Taylor Fagen a Republican strategist and Political adviser to fmr President George W. Bush, "Republicans' focus on contraception is one reason for this drop by Mitt".
The Poll also revealed that 41% were democrats while 24% were republicans.
