ACTION-PACKED ROMANCE!The book was truly amazing. I found, it is the second book in a series but it is one of those that you can read independently. I definitely am looking forward to purchasing the rest of the books in the series.
Drake Flynn was BAD ASS. He was like the hero of everything. He always had a plan and always right about everything and kept everyone safe and sound. He was also a hero with a gun or two. He is extremely smart and resourceful.
Madeline was his female counterpart in my opinion. If I was in her place, I probably would have been shot the first time things didn't go the way they should have. But Madeline continually surprised Drake by her resiliency and the way she handled herself. She could maneuver a boat, handle a gun, and get themselves out of deep trouble. I think if she decides to become like Drake, she definitely has potential.
What I didn't like about the book: It seriously lacked the proper use of commas. I think it really needed more editing as far as punctuation was concerned.
Overall, I definitely recommend this book. It is hot, sexy, and full of action to keep you turning the page.
Memorable quote: "It's a...good...thing...that I...love...you...Because...that was definitely...worse...than the waterfall."
