Liverpool looking to sign Hoffenheim star

Newly appointed Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has declared his interest in signing Hoffenheim star Gylfi Sigurdsson. The coach spoke of his intention to sign the Icelandic player, after he performed very well last season. Liverpool are trying to get back to where they once belonged - they are looking to sign a few players to try and get back into the top four of the EPL. Rodgers is also looking to keep loaned-out players such as Alberto Aquilani and Joe Cole.
