Benayoun will decide his future soon

Yossi Benayoun will be deciding his future in the next days, but his future is surely not in Stamford Bridge. Last year he was on loan at Arsenal, after Chelsea deemed Benayoun as surplus to their team. Chelsea in fact wanted to sell him, but offers were few, and eventually succumbed to a long-term loan to their rivals Arsenal. Benayoun accepted the fact that he's not getting any younger and is considering playing with a lower reputation team. A return to his former club West Ham is possible but Ajax also showed their interest in the player. However another option is returning to his homeland with Maccabi Haifa. Benayoun's future is unclear but as he said, he will decide in the next few days.
